100 CAPF Constable candidates receive appointment letters at BSF Frontier Headquarters, Kashmir
SRINAGAR, JANUARY 24: As part of the Prime Minister’s nationwide initiative to promote employment generation, a Rozgar Mela was organised today at the Border Security Force (BSF) Frontier Headquarters, Kashmir, in Srinagar. The event was held under the 18th tranche of Rozgar Mela, which is being conducted simultaneously at over 40 locations across the country.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the newly appointed candidates through virtual mode, reiterating the Government of India’s commitment to creating employment opportunities through transparent, swift and merit-based recruitment processes. He described government employment as a means of nation building and urged the youth to serve with dedication and integrity.
During the event, 100 appointment letters were distributed to selected Constable (GD) candidates of the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF). At the national level, more than 61,000 appointment letters were issued across various Ministries and Departments under the Rozgar Mela initiative.
The Rozgar Mela aims to provide meaningful employment to the youth while strengthening institutional recruitment mechanisms within the Central Government. The programme also reflects the government’s focus on capacity building, public service delivery and the creation of a young, motivated workforce.
The event witnessed the presence of senior officials from concerned departments, representatives of recruiting agencies and newly appointed candidates. Family members of the selected youth also attended the programme and expressed appreciation for the government’s efforts towards employment generation and ensuring transparency in recruitment.
The Srinagar Rozgar Mela marked another significant step in empowering youth and reinforcing trust in the government’s recruitment process.
